Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Vintage Finds

06 May
Time once again for Treasure Trove Tuesday... here is what I found over the weekend!

thrifting finds

Not as much as I find sometimes but still quite a few things :o)

I know the very first thing you probably noticed is this awesome deer print on fabric. You've probably seen them before as wall hangings... some of them are pretty ugly! I really liked this one, it is SO soft! It kind of has a boho chic vibe to me... I could see it being made into pillows, covering a bench, or just laying over the back of a couch.

We stopped at one garage sale that had a couple of boxes full of towels, most of them were newer or just very plain but my mom and I picked these three out and made a little set of our own even though they didn't go together originally. The one on the bottom of the stack has a pretty crochet edging, the middle is plain pink and the top ties them together with the pretty roses!

This little creamer is so shapely and I just love the delicate little flowers on it! You can also see some old Reader's Digest books int the back. They have such cute covers on them and I've seen some really cool things made from them! The slice of wood under the creamer will get a fun makeover soon ;o)

The old thermos is missing the lid but I think they make sweet vases so who needs a lid anyway!?! I am keeping the little garden rake and adding it to my collection of vintage yard tools and I'm collecting some wooden handled screw drivers for a cute project I have in mind.

I love this sweet little doll, she's all ready for spring in her colorful floral dress... it just needs a little pressing!

Isn't she sweet??!!

The glass jars are just kind of cool... I think they used to hold coffee. I think the little nativity will be sweet with a coat of white paint. And there is a vintage kitchen chopper and a stack of vintage calendars!

I love this little vintage garbage can too!

Here are all the calendars I got. If you missed my post about What to do With a Vintage Fabric Calendarlike these and what you can do with them you might want to check it out, there are some awesome ideas from some very talented Etsy sellers!

Well, that's it for this post, do you have a favorite?

Don't miss a single post!

  3. We used to have a vegetable chopper like that, but ours had an orange lid. Wish I would have kept it now.
