Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds

13 May
I totally spaced off Treasure Trove Tuesday and now it's almost Wednesday... in fact it will BE Wednesday before some of you see it! Even though I'm late and I don't have a whole lot to show this time here I am anyway! :o)

See? Not quite as much but I think just as good as some hauls!

thrifting finds

I thought this latch hook wall hanging kit was cool, it's still in the original package unopened!

I made a latch hook Christmas tree skirt once... it took F.O.R.E.V.E.R.!! But I was so proud of it when I finished, have you ever done latch hook?

The little souvenir "phone messages" pen and note pad holder from Corvallis, Oregon is cute!

I found some old rulers... believe it or not a grouping of old rulers sells really well in my shop, Little Vintage Cottage!

I saw some one time in a Pottery Barn catalog displayed in a vase and of course you know Pottery Barn... they cost an arm and a leg!

This old scrapbook doesn't have any pages but I liked the cover and I thought I could use it to make an altered book.

Look at this sweet little vintage baby book... so cute and still in the original box, unused!

Some more old clipboards... another of my best sellers :o)

I've had a couple of people ask me if I had about 30 to 40 of them. They said they were designing a restaurant and wanted to use them to hold the menus! I never have that many at one time but I thought the idea was cool!

I found two of these shabby, soft pink blankets. I think they would look lovely in a vintage camp trailer but I'm not sure if I'll sell them "as is" or make something with them.

I think this may be my favorite find, it's an old shoe storage box with a fleur de lis on it!

It's in such great condition, the front zips open and as you can see it's quite large! I think I will use it for storage in my craft studio since you'll be able to see what's in each cubby!

And last but not least...

The log carrier/storage which I have already put to use on my new firepit lounge area area! :o)

Take a look in my shop, Little Vintage Cottage, to see some of my other Treasure Trove finds!

Hope you all are having a good week!

  1. Some lovely finds - those old wooden rulers remind me of being at school. The log rack is my favourite - it looks great in your fire pit.
