Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds

01 July
Here are my finds!

thrifting finds

I am adding some touches of pink to my bedroom so I think this flower picture will be perfect... I'll probably paint the frame.

Someone wrote some memories on the back!

Someone didn't think much of this sweet little birdie because she was in the free box :o( I rescued her though and I think she'll be beautiful with a new coat of paint. Next to her (you can see them better in the picture of the flower print) are two nail polish holders! You put your nail polish in the holder and rest your finger on the top while you paint your nails! :o)

This pretty pink tray is a Shabby Chic brand tray. I found a couple of Kerr brand canning jars, I think I'll try painting them like some I've seen on Pinterest.

I also found one of Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic books, they are getting kind of old now but I still love shabby chic style.

 A couple of vases...

A white Bundt pan which I might also make something I've seen on Pinterest with ;o)

And underneath that pan is this beautiful plate! It's marked on the back 1888!

A Blue Willow plate...

A cute primitive snowman to add to my collection...

I thought this mold was sweet!

A retro travel game set...

A vintage Swingline stapler...

Some more metal picture frames...

And now for the very best finds!!! Tada!!! What do you think?!

I fell completely in love with this chair... the velvety upholstery, the color, the shape, the tufting, the nail head trim, I love it all! And it was only $8.00!!!

The guy was just shocked that I loved the chair as is... he said he had planned on reupholstering it and looked at me rather strangely when I told him I was NOT going to! She's a sexy little thing don't you think?!

And this huge glass jug was my other favorite find!

It was only $2.00! Yippee!

So, what do you think? What's your favorite item??

P.S. You can find most of these items eventually making their way to my shop: Little Vintage Cottage

P.P.S. Don't miss a single post!

  1. Oh wiw Tania! I love that chair and it looks to be in perfect condition! If only I could find one like it in blue! I wanted something similar to it for my living room after the renovation is done, but I haven't found anything like it. I am looking at a new chair on Overstock...it has nailhead trim too. My second favorite is your pink tray! Super cute! All great finds...I still wish we could go junkin' together...:) Have a great day.....Vicky

  2. LOVE that chair too. That almost looks like a Hinckley and Smith water bottle.

What do you do with the metal frames?
