Easter Tablescape Ideas

07 March
I've talked about how I like to decorate for all the different holidays and seasons before.

I really enjoy switching up my decor but for the holidays that are less celebrated I like to just decorate a small area in my home... the buffet, the fireplace mantel, or the dining table.

Today I'm sharing an Easter tablescape that I created to give you some ideas for creating a simple holiday vignette.

I did not buy anything new, I already had everything or I made some things with supplies I had on hand.

I created a bold Easy No-Sew Table Runner with some fabric that was leftover from some chairs I reupholstered.

You can create a really easy and pretty centerpiece by using a wreath! I used a pink wreath that I had and laid it flat on the table and put a cute clay rabbit in the center of the wreath.

An inexpensive vase of flowers (or cattails!) is another easy idea.

I used plastic eggs and cattails from the Dollar Store in a plain glass vase. The trick to keep the flowers in the center is to stick the ends of the stems inside a salt shaker or another small container with the lid removed and then put the eggs around that to hide it.

Shop around your house for things you can use. The green box is actually a drawer I borrowed from a small chest of drawers I have. I filled the bottom with crumpled paper to take up space and then put natural-colored, crinkled Easter grass on top.

My mom made the cute tags years ago and I found the honeycomb eggs a few years ago at one of my favorite antique shops.

I added the cute Potted Easter Bunnies to use as place card holders!
