Vintage Rattan Stool #2 Makeover!

11 May
I'm still busy making over stools and today I have another rattan stool to share. If you missed the first rattan stool makeover you can see it here: Vintage Rattan Stool Makeover

I found this one at a garage sale for only .50 cents!

A coat of antique white paint and it's looking loads better already!

I decided to make a cushion for it from an old quilt piece just like I did for the Vintage Wicker Rocking Chair Makeover!

I just cut two circles, sewed them up leaving a hole for stuffing the cushion, and then hand stitched the opening closed.

What do you think?

  5. Wow! At only 50 cents I think I still would have passed this by, but you made it so cute! Never would have thought to do this with it. Your vision is much better than mine. Great job!
