Oldies and Newbies Blogging Network

Last month I signed up for Oldies and Newbies Blogging Network over at Wonderfully Messy Mom. Oldies and Newbies is a partnering of bloggers (ideally an Oldie and a Newbie blogger) for one month to teach each other, learn from each other, and grow our blogs together.

As Brandy, the woman behind Wonderfully Messy Mom says, “No matter your size or how long you have been blogging, everyone has something to teach and to learn”. I whole-heartedly agree with that!

I have been paired with a newbie blogger, Dereth at Bird With a List. I was kind of surprised that I was classified as an oldie blogger… I mean… age wise compared to many bloggers I guess I am getting old! Ha! But as far as blog size or popularity I wouldn’t have considered myself an oldie. I have been blogging for a long time yes, but only very recently have I started taking it seriously.

So, I’d like to introduce you to Bird With a List! Dereth’s blog covers time management for all areas of life, we all need that don’t we?! I know I sure do!

She has some great posts like 40 bags in 40 days challenge. The idea behind this is to clear out clutter in your home. You divide your home into 40 areas and each day you fill up a garbage bag with things you no longer need from the day’s assigned area. It can be a large black garbage bag or a small shopping bag, your preference. I think I’m definitely going to give this idea a shot!

And her post, Goodwill Outlet Tutorial: Is it worth it? We have a Goodwill Outlet where I live but I have never been there because I was unsure how it really worked. Dereth’s tutorial is awesome!

I’m hoping to help Dereth with some feedback about her blog design and I’d love to get her input on mine too as we work together in the Oldies and Newbies Blogging Network.
