Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds

13 June
I have some fun treasures to share for today's edition of Treasure Trove Tuesday and I have a little surprise to share at the end! 😉

I hope you'll stick around to see what it is, I think you'll get a kick out of it at the very least!

Ok, so let's see what I found this week!

My latest thrifted treasures for the shop: www.littlevintagecottage.etsy.com!

First up is the most adorable vintage letter holder I've seen in a long time!

He is made of metal in the shape of a big spring. Your letters go in the coils and his tail holds a pencil... is that not adorable?!

Price $1.99, Value $14 - $16

Next up is another vintage letter holder. I actually bought this one for my daughter, she said she needed one. If she doesn't like it then it will go in the shop too.

It is also made of metal with three angled slots for your mail... letters, bills, and misc.

And two hooks for hanging keys!

Price $1.99

Then I found this cute little lady!

I love her colorful dress, hands on her hips, and big eyes!

She still has her original tag too!

Price $2.99, Value $14 - $16

Some patterns. I thought this bunch of Mid-Century Modern furniture patterns was cool!

Each one unfolds to reveal the directions and measurements to make each item.

Price .50 cents each, Value $4 - $6 each.

I loved this little robe pattern, that little girl in the bottom left is so cute!

The thing with this pattern is that there are no markings on the pieces except for a punched out letter to tell you what piece it is... definitely for a little more advanced seamstress!

Price .50 cents, Value $4 - $6

And a vintage embroidery pattern with little Dutch girls!

I don't think this one has ever been used! If you like embroidery these days of the week towels would be so fun to make!

Price .50 cents, Value $4 - $6

Then I found some linens...

I'm really not sure what these are for... there are two pieces with the little ballerina and then one long skinny piece... perhaps the arms of a chair for the ballerina pieces? Do you know?

Price $3.99, Value $14 - $16

This one is a dresser scarf with pretty peacocks at boh ends.

Price $3.99, Value $12 - $14

And an adorable tablecloth and napkins set. The tablecloth has this pretty maiden embroidered on all four corners. There are four napkins with the same lady on one corner.

On the tablecloth, she is holding a teapot and on the napkins, she holds a teacup! So much detail!!

Price $4.99 for the tablecloth, $3.99 for the napkins, Value $20 - $24 for the set.

Aren't they sweet?

And a pretty royal purple vintage pillow.

Price $3.99, Value $12 - $14

A cool Aztec basket.

Price $1.99, Value $8 - $10.

These are so cool hanging in groups on the wall...

And now for my favorite find of the day!

Eek! A pair of ceramic giraffes! They are in perfect condition too!

I really debated about buying these because they will be hard to ship but I couldn't stand leaving them behind, they are so cool!

Price $4.99 for the pair, Value $22 - $24 for the pair

And now for the surprise!!!

I'm really jumping outside my comfort zone here but I thought it would be fun to show my finds in video form! I really can't believe I'm doing this! This is my first time... other than my test video which you can also find on my Youtube channel if you are interested:

There are a few bloopers in there too 😂

If you like this let me know! If you hate it you can let me know that too but be nice about it! ha ha!

  5. I am new to your blog and I was watching your June 13th blog. The ballerina set you have is a vanity set. It covers the two sides and the center of the vanity. Just thought if you didn't know you may want to.
