Tortilla Pinwheels
I'm sharing a simple recipe for one of my favorite holiday appetizers today... and simple is great this time of year right?
These little bundles of yumminess are Tortilla Pinwheels!
Tortilla Pinwheels Recipe
Directions
Beat the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon bits, olives, dressing mix, dill, and parsley with a mixer on low until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread the cream cheese mixture on the flour tortillas and roll up like a jelly roll. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate. When ready to serve, slice into slices (about 1/2" thick). Cut off (and eat!) the ends 😉
*Note: If you don't like the taste of ranch dressing you can leave that part out or add less than 1/2 package. You can also add sliced green onions.
- 2 packages cream cheese, softened (8 oz. each)
- 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- Bacon Bits
- 1/2 package of ranch dressing mix
- 1/4 c. diced olives
- Dill to taste
- 1/2 tsp. parsley
- Pepper to taste
- Flour tortillas

I used white cheddar cheese, had I used orange it would be a little more colorful and festive looking!
These are so tasty, try not to eat them all yourself!

I feel like I am gaining weight by looking at the pictures. Your recipe sounds so good. You had me at cream cheese.
ReplyDeleteAnything with bacon and ranch dressing mix is a winner in my book! These look so yummy and quick to make!
ReplyDeleteI know!!

Oh these look so good whether you use white or yellow cheese. Love that they're easy too. Pinned. I think I'm going into sugar overload already. Glad to see something not sugary. Not that I don't love sugar!
ReplyDeleteThanks Florence! I'm going into sugar overload too and it's only the first week of December! Oy!!

Yum! I've tried making these with corn tortillas post-Celiac Disease diagnosis and they're just not the same! This recipe sounds delicious!
ReplyDeleteBest,
Kelly
Nope, definitely not the same. Can you not have the flour with Celiac Disease? Would gluten free be an option?
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Kelly :)
Tania
I haven't made these in years, kinda forgot about them, thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to whip some up now! :o)
