My Vintage Travel Trailer - Closet Makeover With Maps!

I worked on Miss Maizy, my little vintage travel trailer, again on Sunday. We are getting closer to her maiden voyage!! Thought you might like to see what I worked on this time.

Vintage Trailer Closet Makeover

I have to apologize in advance for the bad cell phone pictures, I forgot to take my camera with me :o(

This is the closet before it's new makeover. Dirty, raw ugly wood, old chipped up paneling... not at all suitable for such a cute little vintage travel trailer!

Here is a peek inside that same closet now! I bought three old maps at a local thrift store, I think I paid .19 cents each for them.

Then I cut them up and wallpapered inside the closet with them!

I used kitchen and Bath wallpaper paste that is made especially for moist areas (a really good idea inside any travel trailer as they tend to hold in moisture).

This is the cupboard right above the sink and stove.

I'm sure Miss Maizy breathed a little sign of relief that her ugly old closet is now as cute as the rest of her!

She's coming along nicely with her makeover!

Tania, I just love your little trailer is so cute and I love the map wallpaper! I am hoping once I have my new job I can find my own little trailer to run away with. :)

Just came across your blog and had to comment since we are LIVING in a little Scottsman camper right now (between moving into our new house!) Love what you have done with yours! We have big dreams for ours too eventually. Right now, the basics (like water & electricity, which was mangled by the previous owners) comes first since right now it is "home." You've really got my imagination stirring though...
