Before and After - Thrift Shop Flips
19 May
I have a few trash to treasure thrift shop flips to share today!
This vintage clock got a much needed update with a coat of sunny yellow paint!
Here is a before shop (sorry it's so blurry!)
I can see this hanging in a retro kitchen or craft studio!
And remember these vintage jars?
They are now cute little canisters with chalkboard labels!
I married a vintage glass light shade and candle holder to form a cool fruit bowl!
An old, plain wooden rolling pin was transformed with some decorative painting!
It is now a "Bakery" recipe card holder. I'm really not sure what it was intended to be used for but I like this idea ;o)
I found some vintage recipe cards that I thought went so well with it!
And this is a vintage trivet that has been reimagined into a cute butterfly wall hanging!
I just glued a piece of burlap over the ugly tile insert, stamped the butterfly onto the burlap, and made a couple of rolled fabric roses!

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty yellow! I've been painting up a storm in my kitchen too. I decided to switch from red to aqua accents and painted everything - it looks fabulous!!
ReplyDeleteGreat canisters too!
