What do Queen Anne and Aztec Have in Common? - End Table Makeover
05 July
What do Queen Anne and Aztec have in common? Everything if you give a Queen Anne style end table a makeover with an Aztec design!!
My mom picked up this cute little side table at a garage sale for me a couple of months ago for just $8.
It's in great shape aside from a wobbly leg (just needed the screw tightened) and the finish on top starting to come off.
I've had good luck with Aztec designs on furniture selling in my booth so I gave this one an Aztec treatment as well!
I used the same Misty Emerald Lake color as I used on the {microwave cart} I redid a while back.
And I experimented with some Butcher's Bowling Alley Wax that I found in a free box at a garage sale some time ago. It said it was suitable for pretty much anything... leather, antiques, furniture... bowling alley's!!! :o) That pretty much covers everything right?!
It's a clear paste wax so you put it on with a rag and then buff it out with another clean rag. Here's a link to something very similar on Amazon in case you want to try it out:
