The Arise Box

08 April
I just discovered something new and wonderful and I wanted to share it with you too! (Psst... there's a coupon included at the end of this post)!

It's called The Arise Box, have you heard of it?

So, why am I so excited?

As they say on their website... "The Arise Box is a box full of goodness that fights human trafficking". Plus... it's a box full of fun goodies and who doesn't like to receive fun stuff in the mail?!

The Arise Box company partners with safe homes around the US where survivors of human trafficking arrive with only the clothes on their backs. They have nothing really to call their own. They send care packages that are filled with useful little luxuries that each person can call their own.

They began sending care packages in 2016 and they have sent 80 care packages, provided clean water and employment for transitioning homeless, and sent $125 worth of art therapy supplies to children survivors in a care center in Ghana. You can read more about what they have done HERE.

I really love what they stand for and what they are doing so I subscribed to receive arise boxes of my own!

I am not being paid for this post, nor have I received free product. I just believe in their mission and wanted to help spread the word. I received my first box just a couple of days ago and I thought I'd share what was in my box!

Here is my box, isn't that cute? 😊 This is called the Fresh and Clean Box.

Oooohhh... I love surprises!

Inside the box, there was this... Meloria all-natural cleaning solution... organic, vegan, and cruelty-free. You just add water! It has no harsh chemicals, is dye free, and unscented. I have been trying to use less chemical cleaning products in my house so I'm excited to try this!

This is a lovely, citrus wood scented bath soak and it's made by women survivors. Thistle Farms is a safe home in Nashville. They run a natural body and home product company called The Cafe at Thistle Farms where the residents can be employed.

I've been wanting to try bee's wax food storage wrap so this is so cool! And it smells really good!

You can wrap up a sandwich and it has this handy (not to mention adorable) little button closure!

There was also a sustainable bamboo toothbrush with pretty blue bristles. It is 100% vegan bamboo and BPA free... and his name is Phil! 😂

It's a beautiful wheel thrown clay vase!

Each vase provides one week of clean water to someone in the Central African Republic.

I had to buy some pretty pink tulips for my new vase!!

For me, this is the perfect way to give back and help out. I don't have a lot of time to volunteer in my community (plus I'm kind of an introvert) so this is a way that I can still do my part.
