Custom Canvas Art and a Giveaway!

08 May
Thanks to Canvas Factory for partnering with me to bring you this post. Financial compensation was not received for this post, a sample product was gifted. Opinions expressed here are my own.

One of the questions I am asking in my blog reader survey is "What frustrates you most about home decor?" and the answer that is winning by leaps and bounds is "I don't like most of what I see in stores".

I hear ya!! I feel the same and that is why I LOVE shopping at thrift stores. But I'll admit, finding good art at a thrift store can be difficult at times. So what's the next choice? DIYing it of course!

Today I am sharing the absolute, easiest DIY project of all time to get a custom canvas art print that you won't find in any store!

When Canvas Factory reached out to me and asked if I'd like to create my own canvas art and review it on my blog I was excited to see what they had to offer! And THEN... they said I could also host a giveaway for one of my lucky readers to win a canvas print! Woot! Oh yeah, I'm in!!

I am planning a little makeover of my main bathroom soon and even though I'm not quite ready yet I went ahead and ordered my canvas print that I knew I wanted for the bathroom.

This is a macro shot of a succulent (aka hens and chicks) that my boyfriend took. It's one of the first pictures he took when he became interested in photography and it is one of my favorites. I love how soft it looks.

My plan for my bathroom is to paint the walls back to white and this will be my jumping off point for colors in the bathroom.

So, at Canvas Factory they make it SO easy to create your own custom canvas art that no one else will have!

You just upload your picture that you want to print on your canvas and then drag it onto the mock canvas that is set up on their site so you can see what it will look like.

Have a favorite picture you or a family member has taken? Maybe it's a family picture, a picture of a child or grandchild, or your favorite vacation spot! The sky's the limit with this one!

You can then change the orientation (landscape or portrait) and choose how you want the edges to appear (gallery wrap, mirror image wrap, or colored wrap).

And then you can play with effects.... you can choose black and white or colors that remind me of Andy Warhol prints!

I chose mirror image on the sides so here is what the side of my canvas looks like.

Once I ordered my print it arrived super quickly and it is very nice quality, I'm very impressed!

I'm excited to hang this in my bathroom once I get those walls painted, I think it'll be beautiful and no one else anywhere has this same print!

So, do you want to win your own custom canvas art from Canvas Factory?

You can enter below! The giveaway runs until midnight (Pacific time) May 15th and is open to US and Canadian residents only.

P.S. If you haven't completed the LVC reader survey yet, I would love you to the moon and back if you would! It's really short and you can complete it here: LVC Reader Survey.
