I have been working in the kitchen of my dollhouse, The Littlest Vintage Cottage!
When I heard that Hobby Builders Supply/miniatures.com and Crates & Pallet have teamed up to offer DIY in miniature, I just had to check it out! They are using the latest in 3D print technology to create the most adorable up-to-date accessories for dollhouses like crates, shelf brackets, and trays!
I want my dollhouse to be more modern than the traditional dollhouses of the past so these products are perfect, I chose the adorable little shelf brackets to make some modern open shelving for my kitchen!
I also ordered this kitchen base cabinet and the sink kit. I started with just one cabinet because I wanted to make sure it would work. My dollhouse seems to be a bit smaller than standard.
I was able to cut down the cabinet and make it a little shorter and shallower. So now that I know they will work I'll order a couple more so my kitchen will start looking like a real kitchen!
The little towel was made from a piece of vintage linen handkerchief and I used some scrapbook paper to line the shelves 😊
Don't you just love those tiny white dishes, goblets, and canisters??!! Squeeeee!

I made the sign from a can of Rhubarb drink! (Let me just say... if you like rhubarb this drink is amazing!) 😍
As I was drinking it, I kept thinking how cool the can looked and then I thought of my dollhouse! You know how some people have the oversize vintage signage in their homes? I wanted that look in my dollhouse too! I just cut the can up and then glued the piece I wanted onto some cardstock.
I need to get a tiny bottle of dish soap and a sponge for the sink!!
I love the way those shelves look, don't you?!
I can't wait to get the other cabinets I ordered!
