It's Day 6 and we are sharing DIY Ornament Ideas!
I love handmade ornaments for the Christmas tree. They are so much better than a tree full of store-bought ornaments in my opinion.
I don't mind some store-bought ornaments sprinkled in but my heart belongs to handmade! My mom made almost all of our ornaments on our tree when I was growing up and they bring back such great memories!
I like to make a few new ones for my tree each year too.

All you need to make these are some small 3" embroidery hoops and an ugly sweater! I found my sweater at Goodwill!
Choose an area on the sweater and place the inside embroidery hoop ring inside the sweater and press the outside hoop over the top and then tighten the screw.
Now cut out the hoop.
Trim the edges on the back. I also went over the edges with some craft glue so it wouldn't unravel.
Add a pretty ribbon for a hanger.
This sweater had sequins to make it shimmer!
Or.....
You could wear them!!! 😂
