Upcycled Vintage Basket Picnic Food Covers - 7 Days of Thrift Shop Flips - Day Two
18 August
Well, what did you think of Day 1 of 7 Days of Thrift Shop Flips? I hope you liked it! 😁
Today's project is a lot simpler and quicker and is made with something I see all the time at the thrift store.
I decided to paint the rims of the baskets to coordinate with the colors in the knobs.
That's it! You could paint the basket part too or add painted designs but I love this look!
They coordinate nicely with my DIY Patio Umbrella Cover!

I really don't know what these baskets were used for since they are round with no flat area on the bottom. They wouldn't sit with much of anything in them without tipping over.
I thought they would make great picnic food covers! I found these pretty little knobs at Hobby Lobby. I like the boho feel they have.

I also made each one a little yarn tassel to get that boho look I love!
