Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds

Wow, it's been a minute since I posted a Treasure Trove Tuesday haul!

I have still been hitting the thrift stores but have mostly been buying clothes lately. Saturday I went out to a couple of thrift shops though and didn't look at clothes at all! I found a few goodies to share with you!

If you're new to Little Vintage Cottage, I used to thrift a lot more than I do now because I had a booth at a local antique mall (two for a while!) that I had to keep stocked plus my Etsy shop (Little Boho Cottage). I like to share my finds here, I tell how much I paid for things and how much I think I can resell them for... sometimes I keep things for myself too 😉

Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds

First I stopped at St. Vincent Center which is a very small thrift store.

These were the first thing I found. I like to pick up these vintage melamine dishes when I see them. Then I create new sets of dishes and sell them in my Etsy shop. They are great for RVs!

I paid .39 cents each for these, so $1.56 for a set of 4! I usually sell the sets (4 each dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, and cups/mugs plus a serving bowl or platter) for $35 to $40.

Then I found these two linen tea towels!

You can see they were $3.19 each and they still have the "Belgian Linen" stickers on them so they have never been used!

Wow! I just did a search for "Vintage Belgium Linen Tea Towel" on Etsy and they are priced anywhere from $20 to $90!! I did the same search on eBay (where you can actually see what they are selling for) and they go for around $15 to $20 so I'll probably price these somewhere in that range.

Then I found this peacock Avon bottle. Now, Avon bottles don't sell for sh*t but I liked this one and I am keeping it. I think it goes with my boho decor 😊 and it was just .69 cents!
