The smoke from all the fires has finally cleared out where I live and it's safe to go outside again! Yippee!
It was certainly a little bit depressing, but I always get a little depressed when the weather is crappy. I just want to bake cookies but I can't have cookies because I'm trying to diet so THAT's depressing too!
But the last two days have been just beautiful so I ventured out to do something that always lifts my spirits... thrift shopping!!

I went to Goodwill and an estate sale, it was fun and relaxing!

This is a nice woven storage basket. I don't really have a plan for it but it's always nice to have nice storage baskets!

I liked this owl print too... not necessarily the frame though... I'll probably redonate that. I have a plan for this print... it's simple but I think it will look so good... stay tuned!!

I found several of these vintage satin souvenir pillow covers at the estate sale. I have never seen any like these I picked up. I love this one and will probably be keeping it!
