I've been getting quite lucky at the thrift stores lately!
Not only have I found things to resell in my Etsy shop, but also some things to keep!
Treasure Trove Tuesday - My Latest Thrifting Finds
First, I thought I'd share the items I plan to keep so I'll just list what I paid for them.
I found some craft supplies to add to my stash. Some red tinsel pipe cleaners, a circle punch, and bags of little butterflies, flowers, and leaves!
I am asked a lot where I find all my craft supplies (because if you've been following along for very long then you know that my supply stash is bomb!) Well, this is one way I get a good stash. I pick up things at the thrift stores for a fraction of what you'd pay for them new and many times they still are new!
These packages of items are one example of some still new supplies, they cost over $5.00 each at Michael's.
I love these little butterflies! I paid $3.99 for all three packages plus the package of pipe cleaners. The circle punch was $1.99, these run around $10 at the craft stores.
I found a package of incense sticks for my burner for .99 cents.
I've been wanting to get some pretty dishes for different seasons and holidays and I finally found some!
It's kind of hard to tell in these pictures but they have some green in them which will be cool for a St. Patrick's Day place setting! I have some vintage green drinking glasses to pair with them! They were $6 for 4 dinner plates and $4 for 4 dessert plates.
Speaking of vintage drinking glasses... look at these beauties 😍 They were $3.99 for the pair.
Now for the things I found for resale.
I found 2 of these Spring Bunny honeycomb centerpieces. They are unopened!
The date is 1981. Price $1.99 each, Value $18 - $20 each.
I have never tried to resell one of these Russ Berrie figurines before but I'm giving it a shot because I see them all the time, do you remember them?!
Price, $2.99, Value $12 - $14 (I think!)
Vintage jewelry boxes are always good sellers.
Price $3.99, Value $18 - $20.
I think that they are celluloid but there are no markings that I can see.
Price $1.99, Value $25 - $30.
I'm not sure what this is. It reminds me of a butter mold but it's kind of large for that so maybe just a decorative carving.
Price $1.99, Value $8 - $10.
