Hi there, do you remember Treasure Trove Tuesdays?!
It's been a hot minute since I've shared my latest thrifting finds so I thought it was about time!
If you are new to LVC, Treasure Trove Tuesdays are where I share what I've most recently found at the thrift stores, what I paid for each item, and how much I think I can resell it for in my Etsy shop.
Please note, I am not an appraiser or an expert on values by any means but I have been selling online, starting with eBay and now Etsy for over 17 years so I think I have a pretty good idea of what I can sell something for 😋
Treasure Trove Tuesday - My Latest Thrifting Finds
I also end up keeping some of the things I've found (a girl only has so much willpower 😂) so I'll share those first.
I was super excited when I found this little guy! I always check them out when I see them at the antique stores, I love them so... but they are always too expensive for me.
After doing some research, I've learned that he is a Goebel Monk (sometimes called Friar Tuck). You can see on the bottom it is marked "Made in W Germany."
Here he is with the other little monk liquor decanter that I have.
Price $2.99, Value $15 - $30 (but I'm keeping him).
Thrift stores are great resources for craft supplies. I found this Christmas scrapbook paper pack for just $3.99! I think they run around $25 in the store.
Look at some of the cute papers inside!
I have a thing for face planters and coffee mugs so I had to pick this cutie up!
Price $1.99, it's marked Teleflora on the bottom so it was probably around $20 originally. I am keeping her too!
And the last item that I bought to keep is this bag of latch hook yarns. I have been collecting any latch hook yarns that I can find (when cheap enough) to use to design my own boho rug. I think I may have enough now!
Price $2.99, Value - it looks like bags this size sell for around $15 - $20.
And here are the things I bought for resale.
I think this vintage lithograph print is very pretty. It's a Bernard print.
And it's marked on the bottom as "Copyright 1943, Bernard Picture Co, Inc."
Price $2.99, Value $35 - $40.
These are vintage Heller Max Mugs designed by Massimo Vignelli. They are plastic and feel very 70's to me.
Price $3.99, Value $60 - $70 (yes, I was shocked when I looked these up too!)
I found this cute little cubbyhole shelf, it would be perfect for some tiny collectibles.
It's marked on the back as "Fred Roberts Company, San Francisco, Made in Japan."
Price $1.99, Value $30 - $40.
I love the pretty little frame on this old mirror but someone did a very sloppy job painting it 😆
You can see it was gold before someone painted it. I think I may try distressing it to see if I can bring some of the gold back out.
Price $1.99, Value $25 - $30.
And last, this woven wool bag caught my eye.
Price $3.99, Value $40 - $45.
You can check out my Etsy shops to see what else is new!
Leave a comment below and let me know which item is your favorite or if you would have picked any of these up.
If you enjoyed this post, I'd love it if you'd share it!
PIN ME!
I enjoy Treasure Trove Tuesday almost as much as craft room tours. I especially like your little monk made in West Germany. So many good scores! Due to a move recently, I had to donate many, many things. I hope people like you find them. I look forward to the next TTT too.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like these posts Vikki! It's sure hard to get rid of stuff, I had to get rid of a lot recently too as you know. Most things I don't miss but there are always a few things I kick myself for!
DeleteLots of fun finds. But i think my favorite is the monk pitcher!
ReplyDeleteMe too, I love him :)
DeleteWonderful treasures you found at a great price. I would have brought home the little monk also, along with the little white frame.
ReplyDeleteThose are my favs too :)
