Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds

21 July
Isn't this a happy little teaser picture? Stay tuned and you'll see which treasure it's from!

Thrifting Finds

Here's my loot... not as much this week :o)

This sweet, delicate little bed jacket was thrown in a free box. I think with a good washing and ironing it will be beautiful! And on just the right figure vintage bed jackets look so sweet with a pair of worn jeans... not my figure mind you!

I found a pair of these lamps, just need a couple of shades for them and they'll be heading down to my space at the antique mall.

A vintage pattern.

1935 Needlecraft magazine.

Here are some of the cool advertisements inside.

A xylophone for my upcoming children's display at the antique mall.

I thought these plates were pretty.

Each type of dish has a different scene... small plates have one scene, large plates have another, etc. I'm thinking around Christmas time these might do well at the mall.

I love this little ceramic donkey. I'm going to paint him and most likely keep him!

A macrame owl towel holder.

A pretty stationary pad.

These are some of the designs inside.

And last... the piece that I got the teaser picture from... another tablet of stationary!

You can find some of these and past treasures in my Etsy shops:

  3. I love the lamps, they remind me of Wedgwood!
Those dishes are amazing too, my aunt used to have a whole set of them that she used to mix in solid red with and use at Christmas!
    Awesome finds! :)

  4. What a great week! Those lamps, though not my style, are just gorgeous! Love the vintage stationery too but my favorite is the beautiful dishes. You should definitely not have a problem selling those! Have a great day!

  6. Such interesting finds again this week. My favourite is the stationary. I'm just starting to dabble in paper crafting and I could see it used for handmade cards or scrapbook pages. I think your donkey might be a Dala Swedish Horse that has been painted as they're usually painted in bright colours I may be way off the mark, but that's what it reminds me of.
