Septuplicate Vases & Holder Makeover

03 June
Do you know the definition of septuplicate? It means seven of something... and this little holder has seven vases :o) Plus I didn't know what else to call it!

I found this at a yard sale a few weekends ago for $2. I thought it was cute.

Septuplicate vases and holder makeover

Here is what it looked like when I got it.

It was already kind of cute but one drawer was darker than the others and I thought it looked kind of tired.

I gave it a coat of white spray paint to freshen it up.

And of course I distressed it!

These pretty little flowers I have in it are actually weeds! They are growing out in the corner of my backyard. It doesn't even get water where they are growing!

Since I needed dainty little flowers for these small vases I thought these were perfect!

I'm not sure what you'd put in the tiny little drawers. One had toothpicks in it when I bought it...

I'm happy with this quick little makeover. I think I will list it in my Etsy shop, Little Vintage Cottage soon.

  1. It's adorable! The flowers/weeds are perfect for it! The drawers would be good little mini junk drawers. You know how you toss stuff in a drawer when you don't know what else to do with it but don't want to throw it away?! It wouldn't end up buried so deep in a little drawer like those! LOL!

  2. Wow! I love that piece. I would have snatched it up too and it looks to me like it wanted to be white the whole time!
