Treasure Trove Tuesday - This Week's Thrifting Finds

19 July
Hello, Happy Tuesday!

My mom and I hit a good estate sale and a couple of yard sales Saturday morning and I have a few things to share today :o)

thrifting finds

Vintage condiment jars seem to sell pretty well at the antique mall where I have my spaces.

It's hard to see but the jar says "Mom's Mason Jar" and has a picture of a granny looking lady on it! Price $2, Value $8 - $10.

I loved these cheerful little glasses!

Can you see the adorable little bug in the picture on the left below?! These glasses are made by Hildi. Price $2.50 for the pair, Value $14 - $16.

This owl powder container caught my eye, isn't it cute?

It is marked Giftique 1978 and it's made of plastic. Price $1, Value $14 - $16.

This K. Chin owl print is cute, it's called "Love Birds".

K. Chin was a Chinese artist born in Portland, Oregon. (1920 - 1995). He painted a variety of subjects from animals, flowers, and Victorian houses, to Americana.

Some of his best known paintings were adorable animals and many of his paintings were mass produced in sets of five like this The K. Chin Wise Owls series. Copyright 1973, they were available for just $1.00 plus .25 cents for postage and handling!

Price .75 cents, Value $12 - $14.

Obviously the person whose estate all this came from was really into owls! Check out this funky set!

A terrycloth apron... Price $1, Value $12 - $14.

A washcloth... Price $1, Value $6 - $8.

And the spoon caddy... Price $1, Value $16 - $18.

I also found some linens!

This hankie was just too pretty to pass up! Price $1, Value $5 - $6.

And a cool linen dish towel... never used!

Price $2, Value $10 - $12.

This linen table runner is so delicate and pretty.

Look at the note that is attached! Price $2, Value $14 - $16.

And some fun, funky curtains. There are curtain panels like this and valances to match! Price $2, Value $18 - $20.

And baby clothes... I'm a sucker for them! I haven't had much luck with them so far at the antique mall but these little sweaters were just too cute to pass up!

Price $2 each, Value $10 - $12 each (hopefully!)

These go with the sweater above.

Love the poncho!!

The lady who was selling these said they were hers as a baby... how do people get rid of something like this?! I don't think I could do it!

Vintage honeycomb pieces! I paid $1 for all of them as a set and I think I'll just hang them in one of my booths for a fun accent!

And last but not least...

A super cool, rustic beauty of a stool!!

I don't think I'm going to do anything to it, I love it just as is!

Price $5, and I'm keeping this one!

What do you think of this week's thrifting finds?

    1. They are so sweet! I have tried baby clothes in my Etsy shop before and not had much luck. I have sold a sweater set and christening gown at the antique mall so I'm hoping that these will sell too.
