Living Room Makeover - Wallpaper & a New Front Door
19 June
It's been awhile (February to be exact) since I mentioned my living room makeover, I'm still working on it but I got stalled a bit.
I ordered a new front door at the end of March and it finally got installed on Friday! Yippee!
I decided to replace my front door with one with windows to let some more light into my living room which is north facing and tends to be a little dark.
And my mom and I put up wallpaper on the entry wall.

I chose this cute Scandinavian Block Tulip design from Wayfair.
Here is a shot of this side of my living room before I moved in and while it doesn't seem too dark in this picture it is most of the time.
And here it is after painting the closet door, hanging wallpaper, and having a new front door installed!
This is after hanging wallpaper and painting the closet door but still with the old front door. This picture really captures how dark it could be at times.
And after installing the new front door.
My house is a 1960's ranch and I wanted a door that felt like it was from that era too. I hose a door from Codel Entry Systems through Home Depot.
Here are a couple more before and after shots.
I love my new front door but I keep thinking the door is open whenever I walk into the room and see all that light coming in! 😄
And outside...
What do you think?
