Last Minute Easter Peeps Floral Arrangement
20 April
Have you ever noticed that when you finally get into the groove of creating cute holiday crafts, all of a sudden, BAM! the holiday is here and your crafty fun is over?
That's how I feel about Easter! I still have things I want to make dang it!!
I squeezed out one last project and this one is so easy that you still have time!
This is what happened when I tried to just push the skewer through 😞
Cut out two sets of petals (or more if you like!) for each Peep flower.
Punch a hole in the center and push them down onto a skewer. (Don't make the hole too big, you want them to fit tightly on the skewer.) Victoria wrapped her skewers with pipe cleaners, I didn't do that but if you do then that will give the petals something to sit on and you won't have to worry too much about the size of the hole.
Next, push the egg down onto the skewer.
And then skewer the Peep bunny. No worries, he can't feel it! 😁
I found my vase at the thrift store for $1. I put the left-over halves of the eggs in the vase to give it a little color since it is a clear glass vase.

Last Minute Easter Peeps Floral Arrangement
I saw this idea on Victoria's blog, Dazzle While Frazzled last year and I thought it was so cute! But it was too late by the time I saw it last year and by golly I almost waited too long this year too!
These are so fun and easy to make! If you have kids or grandkids you probably already have plastic Easter eggs and peeps. The only other things you need are some wood skewers like you use when making shish kabobs, and some paper to make the flower petals.
I drilled the hole in the bottom of my eggs. (You can use either half of the egg, it doesn't matter which).

Then all you'll need is some faux greenery of some kind and a vessel to complete your arrangement!
