Thank you to Wayfair for partnering with me to bring you this bedroom essentials post! Financial compensation was received for this post in the form of a gift card. The ideas and opinions expressed here are my own.We are all spending so much more time at home these days, aren't we? Personally, I love being at home and I think that our homes should feel warm, cozy, and comfy, and reflect who we are!
Today I am sharing how I partnered up with Wayfair to create a bedroom retreat that has all the essentials I need to feel relaxed and comfortable when I'm in there.
Don't you just love that little peek into my bedroom? The lace curtain is a vintage tablecloth that I repurposed into a divider between the bathroom and bedroom. It just makes me want to go in there and stay!!
I like to change things up and bring in a few new (or vintage) items here and there so that is what I did!
I focused mainly on the bed.

I ordered a new
bedspread,
pillows, an
accent pillow, and some
linen spray.
I was so stoked when my shipment arrived, it was like Christmas!!
This new bedspread is BOMB! It's so soft and velvety. It's a little lightweight so for now I'm using it with a blanket but it will be great for summer! They have quite a few velvet bedspreads in the
Bed & Bath section too.
This one is the
Brito Reversible Quilt Set in Orange Blush. It comes with two shams and they also have grey, navy, mauve, gold, rainstorm blue, and white!
I also got this Lavender Relax Luxury Linen and Pillow Spray, wow! It smells so good! Spray a little on your pillow before bed and you feel like you're in heaven! Both the spray and the pillow are from Wayfair's Decor & Pillows section. I literally spent HOURS looking at everything!
I also rearranged my room which helps it feel like a complete makeover!
I don't even think it looks bad with the closet curtains open but maybe that's just me!
I moved most of my Mary collection here.
I'm psyching myself up to reupholster this vintage rocker. Upholstery is not my strong point but I can do it if I get in the right mindset!
I'm not a matchy-matchy person generally so on one side of my bed I have a nightstand I fashioned from an antique radio and a vintage plant stand base that I married together.
The candles and linen sprays make it feel more retreat-like.
Especially at night!
And on the other side of my bed, I am using my beloved radiator for a nightstand!
