My Relaxing Boho Bedroom
15 March
Thank you to Photowall for partnering with me to bring you this bedroom post! Financial compensation was not received for this post, a sample product was gifted. Ideas and opinions expressed here are my own.
I rearranged my bedroom the other day so I thought it was time to share the updated bedroom tour!
I'm so in love with this room, I want my whole house to be this great! 😁
You can see what this room looked like when I first moved in five years ago here: Master Bedroom Makeover - Before Pictures.
It's come a long way!!
This is looking into the room from the half bath. I have a huge vintage flower hanging on the left.
I'm sorry for the washed out pictures, it's really hard to get good pictures in this room because it's so bright all the time!
On the right is my mirror gallery wall.
If you step in, this is what you will see. I am still in love with the black walls. I wish I could paint all my walls black but this side of the house is the only side that gets good light. If I were to paint the living room black it would feel like a cave 😒
The headboard was originally red velvet and I painted it, see that post here: Master Bedroom Redo - Painted Fabric Headboard. I repainted it white about a year later.
I hand-tinted the black and white cactus prints. You can see how I did that here: How to Tint Black & White Pictures.
That little collage of vintage family pictures in the frame on the wall actually serves a sneaky purpose 😉
There used to be baseboard heating in this house. It was removed long ago but they left the thermostats. I took it off in here and it left a big hole in the wall that so far I've been too lazy to fix.
I have my collection of white Madonna figurines on my tall dresser.
And my lowboy dresser has a little of this and a little of that to make up a fun eclectic collection.
The clock DIY is here: Upcycled Clock Shelf - 7 Days of Thrift Shop Flips

I found this chair on Craigslist for $15 several years ago and fully intended to recover it but just haven't gotten around to it yet. I kind of like it how it is right now!
This old radiator was free! Read about my excitement over it and see the makeover here: Some New Finds for My Bedroom. The radiator is near the end.
See how I made the polka dot blinds here: Master Bedroom Redo - Inexpensive Window Coverings
This awesome poster is from Photowall.com. They reached out to see if I wanted to review a piece of their art and when I saw this Make Love Not War sign, I knew it would be perfect for my bedroom!
Their site is really cool because most of their art comes in wallpaper, canvas prints, framed prints, or posters! I chose a poster, I was surprised because it came with the nice wooden pieces for the top and bottom AND you can get whatever size you want!!
