Repurposed Vintage Jello Mold Pumpkins

20 September

I stopped at an estate sale the other day. It was kind of a dud but I did find a few things... some unopened bottles of craft paint, a new can of off-white spray paint, and some vintage Jello molds to name a few.

The Jello molds reminded me of pumpkins!

I've decided to forgo the usual orange and brown fall decor this year and go with more neutral colors so these will fit in perfectly.

Supplies You'll Need:

These are the molds I chose to use for my pumpkins, they are like mini bundt pans!

These are so easy to make. You'll start by using the E6000 glue to adhere two molds together, edge to edge.

Allow them to dry and then paint with the color of your choice. I found this pretty new color called Rustic Pink.

You'll need some silk flower leaves and twigs for the stems.

Glue the twigs into the holds with E6000.

Finally, add the leaves and a little jute bow to finish off your pumpkin!

I think it would also be cute to glue some ribbon around the center of the pumpkin.

I found the pink woven pumpkin at Goodwill last year. It's originally from the Opal House line at Target.

I think this will work for spring or summer decor too because it looks a little like a peach 🍑also!
