Fall Decor - Working With Vignettes
08 September
I am so proud of myself!! I actually have fall decor up before Halloween!! 😂
I guess all the fall-themed projects from the 7 Days of Thrift Shop Flips posts got me inspired!
I have decided that it's more impactful to do smaller vignettes rather than try to decorate the whole house for the different seasons and holidays... easier too and requires less stuff which in turn means less to store!
Fall Decor - Working With Vignettes
I decorated my buffet in my dining room, my dining room table, and my fireplace mantle.
I'll share my buffet first! I hung the table runner that I made with vintage trivets on the wall. You can see how I made it here: Boho Garden Tablescape.
The amber glass jar that I shared in one of my Treasure Trove Tuesday - My Latest Thrifting Finds posts, along with some thrifted cutting boards, one of the pie plates that I collect, and one of the Upcycled Sweater Sleeve Pumpkins that I made come together to create this first vignette.
It's always nice to have some yummy smelling fall candles. I elevated this one a bit with an acorn that I found last year at Target's Dollar Spot.
My fireplace mantle is pretty neutral.
I added another sweater pumpkin and some of the leaves I made here: 5 Things to Make With ONE Flannel Shirt.
