Happy New Year!
So, how was 2022 for you? It was an exciting year for me... my boyfriend and I bought a fixer-upper house, moved in together, and rented both of our own houses out. We started working on the house we purchased together and so far have completed the kitchen, basement bathroom, my craft room, and a coat closet.
That seems sort of lame since we've been working on it all year doesn't it?! 😂 But those are the rooms that are complete, there is a lot going on in other areas of the house... I have almost finished the basement family room and gym, the dining room, and the main living room. I have just started the laundry room and the front entry. I haven't even touched our main bathroom or the spare bedroom beyond painting when we first moved in!
In my defense, I'm pretty sure I have A.D.D. as I tend to flit around from project to project! And I have an annoying day job that interferes 😒
I started focusing on creating video content too, you can check out my YouTube channel here:
I also opened a second Etsy shop for my handmade things. You can check out both shops here:
Little Boho Cottage - Vintage Finds
I've got some fun plans for the blog and I'm ready to finish some more home and crafty projects in 2023!
I think it's always fun to look back and see what you were drawn to in the last year so let's have a look back at the most popular posts at LVC for 2022, shall we?
Top 12 Posts of 2022
January
I was surprised actually that the most popular project for January was the Repurposed Picture Frame Ring Holders that I made!
I sold the teal one and kept the gold one for myself.
February
The most popular post for February was the one where I shared Flipping Thrifted and Dollar Store Finds.
These were fun, I have the framed Dollar Store art and the stool in my craft room. I just listed the basket in my handmade Etsy shop.
March
For March, the Repurposed Wood Shim Carrots were a hit! I still have these and will probably be listing them in my shop this spring.
April
In April I shared a Tour of My Craft Room that was very popular both here on the blog and on my YouTube channel!
Interestingly enough, I recently rearranged this room for a better flow for me when I'm crafting away! Would you be interested in an updated tour?
May
I'm happy to see that you liked the DIY Fireplace Makeover with Peel and Stick Tiles! I love this one too 😊
June
I only did one post in June (what the hell Tania!!?) It was the DIY Anthropologie Knock-Off Lamp (No. 2!)
I sold the shade and lamp on Etsy.
July
In July, the most popular project was the cute little Repurposed Salt and Pepper Shakers! These are listed in my Etsy shop too.
August
Yay!! I'm so glad everyone liked the DIY Built-in Entertainment Center that we created in an old closet in the basement. I am especially proud of this project, it really tested my DIY abilities!
September
In September, the Repurposed Toolbox Fall Trash-to-Treasure project was a fav! I saved this beat up toolbox from our garbage and created a cute fall porch decoration.
October
Our Updating Original Kitchen Cupboards post where I used wood trim to create shaker-style cabinets with our old ones was October's favorite.
November
The most popular post in November was the Upcycled Dutch Shoe.
December
And finally, in December the most popular post at LVC was the Tiny Bathroom Makeover - Part 1!
Bonus!
I thought it might be interesting to see which post is the most popular of all time on LVC.
I've been blogging since 2009 😲 and in that 13 years, the most popular of all time is...
drumroll please...
