How to Transition Fall Decor Into Thanksgiving

15 November
I've talked about transitioning decor before, and transitioning from fall decor to Halloween decor to Thanksgiving is the perfect time to utilize this technique.

It takes less effort and saves time, and since fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving are so close together, there isn't much time between each to enjoy your efforts.

And if you're like me and don't have much in the way of Thanksgiving decor, then having that base decor in place is perfect for beefing up your small collection.

I'm transitioning this Nature-Inspired Fall Tablescape into a Thanksgiving tablescape with just two new things added.

I also added a few fun touches in other areas of my home that I'll share.

I do most of my decorating in the dining room.

I added this cute little Pilgrim couple to the nature-inspired fall tablescape that was already there.

I love this primitive couple, I got them years ago at a little home decor store.

That's it, that's all I did to transition the fall tablescape into a Thanksgiving tablescape 😄

I have some other vignettes around the house to share though. I added a few fun touches to this little table in the corner of my dining room.

The orange felt leaf was from the Dollar Store last year.

These little ceramic pumpkins are also from the Dollar Store and the wooden leaves are from Target's Dollar Spot (does anyone else feel the need to cruise through the Dollar Spot on EVERY trip to Target or is it just me?!)

To "Thanksgivify" this area, I made a cute little sign from Scrabble tiles and grouped it with a pine cone from a friend's yard and one of those little wooden leaves.

I found this gigantic pine cone a few years ago at a garage sale and placed it on a rustic stool next to the table.

There are just a couple of touches in the living room too...

I gave the ceramic deer vase some new antlers with branches from the Twisted Filbert bush in my backyard.

I shared how to make these cute paper pumpkins here: DIY Paper Pumpkins. I have it sitting on an old industrial spool with some tiny ceramic owls.

The front porch always gets a little bit of decorating too. I shared it here: Fall Porch Decor Ideas.

Everything looks lovely, Tania--so many special touches and natural elements (my favorite). I'm in love with your giant pine cone and would love to find one of my own some day :) Thanks so much for linking up with Vintage Charm!
