Fall Porch Tour
15 September
Well, I can't believe it... I'm actually ahead of the game and have my front porch decorated for fall... already!! Since I'm Last Minute Lisa that's amazeballs!! In the blogging world, I'm probably behind though!
By the time you see this post I'll be at my first ever blogging conference! I'm super excited and also super nervous. I am actually rather shy and don't like being in big crowds of people where I don't know anyone!
I'm attending Activate: EBA Live. I've been taking the Elite Blogging Academy course for some time now and working on my blog. My dream is to one day be able to work from home doing what I love... blogging, crafting, decorating, etc. So, I'm hoping I come back with a set-in-stone action plan to move toward that dream, wish me luck!
Now, on to the porch 😊
When I emptied out my spaces at the antique mall I saved the two old screens... I couldn't part with them, I love them so! This one became the perfect backdrop for this vignette.
I changed out the flowers in the boots, added an old rake and a faux pumpkin. I went to three different stores looking for fall decor, mainly pumpkins... guess it's too early for real pumpkins and most stores apparently completely skip fall as a season and just go straight to Halloween decor. I finally found two faux pumpkins at good ol' Walmart!
I also changed out the floral arrangement in the post box.
Over on the other side of the porch...
I redid the chalkboard, added the second faux pumpkin I I found...
And planted a couple of small mums (also from Walmart) in the Trash to Treasure Repurposed Dining Chair.
I took the dirt out of this planter and replaced it with a fall flower arrangement and some pumpkins left over from last fall at my booth. I could not keep anything alive in this planter. My porch gets hit hard with the sun and this just dried out too fast. I might just remove it completely but for now, it's fallified!
I also added some leaves and more pumpkins to my mailbox (not my real mailbox though! ha ha!)
That's it! Everything I used for my fall front porch was stuff I already had except for the two faux pumpkins and mum flowers!

Have a great weekend, I'll share about how the conference went when I return!

Tania, Fall is in the air. Your front porch looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteTania, good luck at your conference! Hope you learn a whole lot! Your porch looks so nice & I'm always last minute myself, so I can totally relate. Still trying to keep the summer things going here, but I should give up & move on. Love the screen door too. That will be fun to decorate with thru the seasons! Love that mailbox!
ReplyDeleteThank you Florence!
